Ideas in the wild

There’s ample scientific evidence that being outdoors helps us think more creatively. From 8th-century Japanese poets to ancient Greeks and English Romantics, nature has long been seen as a source of divine inspiration.

Science and history aside it’s obvious that stepping out of the workplace is the best way to tackle the challenges created in the workplace. Sticking Post-it notes on a wall has its merits, but walking and talking will always take you further.

That’s why we created Punk Ideation: to take a fresh look at what it means to co-create great ideas.

And to get out more.

Why would I need Punk Ideation?

Great brands are driven by fresh ideas so if you want to reach more people with your work, launch a new product or service, or just make more impact, then this is for you.

How does it work?

We’ll work out a walking route that suits both your diary and energy levels. Then we’ll ask a few questions ahead of the day to give us some insight.

On the day we’ll walk, talk, facilitate and let science and nature play their part. If there’s time, it’s helpful to wrap up with a brew.

What’s in it for me?

In a word, ideas. You’ll enjoy access to highly experienced creative thinkers who will help you, your team, and your business see your challenges in a new light. You’ll also benefit from being outdoors while getting your steps in. Make no mistake - this is work. Just not desk work.

Afterwards, you’ll get a written summary of the ideas unearthed, along with some suggested next actions. There’s no obligation to use Samara to bring the ideas to life and we’re always happy to work with in-house or existing creative teams.

What does it cost?

Prices start from £395 but every session is unique so we quote on an individual basis.

We aim for a rough ratio of one Samaran to two of your team. You can bring up to eight colleagues, though in our experience, smaller groups tend to be more productive.

"The natural world is the greatest source of inspiration for any creative thinker. The more we learn, the more we are inspired."
